Alex P

Extension developer, Neatrat

Alex P builds browser extensions and small web tools, mostly aimed at getting public data out of platforms that make it awkward to reach.

That includes the four scraper extensions published on Neatrat — for Reddit threads, YouTube comments, App Store reviews, and X replies — which are built on top of the FetchLayer API and maintained as the underlying platforms change.

The guides on this blog come out of that work: what actually still functions in practice, what a given export really contains, and what it costs, rather than what the official documentation implies should happen.
